GDC 2013: Dark gameplay trailer promises vampiric stealth action

Fresh from the floor of GDC 2013, we have a new gameplay trailer of Dark, the third-person stealth action-adventure game being developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media. The video shows protagonist/newborn vampire Eric Bane evading mankind security forces as well as developing and utilising his abilities to stalk and use a wide range of melee attacks to takedown various opponents; powers are divided into three sorts – inherent, passive and vampiric.

Featuring RPG elements, varied environments and 3D Cel-shaded graphics, Dark enables players to employ skills such as regeneration, shadow grip, presence, shadow leap and more (and yes, you can drag corpses to hide them). The game promises to be just the right blend of stealth, action and role-playing; guess we shall find out if that is so when it is released this Summer on the PC and Xbox 360.
